Dr Robert Watson


Robert lives in Balgowlah Heights Sydney and has been a resident of the Northern Beaches for most of his life. He attended St. Ignatius’ College Riverview and then studied Dentistry at the University of Sydney. Robert has worked in private practice in Manly since 1980 and is married to Mary. They have four children, three sons aged 26, 24 and 23 and a 19-year-old daughter.   He is a member of the Australian Dental Association NSW Branch, member of the ADA (NSW Branch) Council and ADA (NSW Branch) Board. He is a member of The Federation Dentaire International, Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Fellow of the International College of Dentists and Fellow of The Australasian Section of the Academy of Dentistry International.   Robert has been a Senior Clinical Tutor in Operative Dentistry at Sydney University and is a lecturer to a variety of organisations and associations. Robert has also been on the interview panel for the selection of Bachelor of Dentistry Programme.   As the Chairman of the Panel of Honorary Dentists for The Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Robert heads up a group of Volunteer Dentists who give freely of their time at the Dental Clinic in Allambie Heights.   More recently, Robert has become an inaugural member of The Oral Health Advisory Panel.   When not working, lecturing or volunteering his time for The Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Robert enjoys travelling, skiing, swimming and spending time with his family.
